★ Sephora FAQs
Does Sephora have a working discount code?
Yes — NEW15 takes 15% off a first order at sephora.co.uk. It only works once per customer, so save it for a proper basket rather than a small top-up.
Does Sephora offer free delivery?
Yes — free standard delivery on orders over £20, or from your very first order once you’ve reached Silver tier in My Sephora, which removes the minimum entirely.
Does Sephora do a student discount?
Yes — verify through UNiDAYS or Student Beans for 15% off, with a small number of premium brands excluded.
Does Sephora offer an NHS or key worker discount?
Yes — Blue Light Card holders can verify their status for a discount around 15%, similar to the student rate.
What is Sephora’s returns policy?
Returns can be made free or by self-post, with postage reimbursed up to £10 where applicable. Orders placed on sephora.co.uk can’t be refunded by returning them to a physical Sephora store — use the online returns process instead.
Did Sephora used to have UK stores before now?
Yes — Sephora ran six UK stores between 2000 and 2005 before exiting the market. It returned online in October 2022 after acquiring Feelunique, then opened its first UK store in almost 18 years at Westfield London in March 2023.
Is Sephora part of LVMH?
Yes — Sephora is owned by LVMH, the world’s largest luxury goods group, alongside brands like Dior and Louis Vuitton.
What is My Sephora, and is it free to join?
My Sephora is Sephora’s loyalty programme, free to join, with three tiers — Bronze, Silver and Gold — based on points earned from spending. Higher tiers unlock free standard and then free next-day delivery, on top of birthday gifts and early sale access.
Is Premier Delivery worth paying for?
It depends on your My Sephora tier — Gold members get it free automatically. If you’re not close to Gold yet but want next-day delivery now, see the honest maths below before deciding.
★ How to Redeem Your Sephora Discount Code

1
Browse sephora.co.uk and add your skincare, makeup or fragrance picks to your bag.
2
Open your bag and continue to checkout.
3
Find the promo code box, shown above your order summary.
4
Enter your code — for example NEW15 — and select “Apply.”
5
Your total updates instantly — check the new figure before entering payment details.
Good to know:
NEW15 is a first-order code — it only works once per customer, so it’s worth saving for a bigger basket rather than a small top-up order. Category sales (skincare, haircare, fragrance and so on) apply automatically at the product page and don’t need a code. Free delivery kicks in automatically over £20, or from your very first order if you’ve joined My Sephora, which is free.
★ Money-Saving Tips & Seasonal Offers for Sephora
Smarter ways to save on skincare, makeup and fragrance, all year round
Compare the Category Sale Against Your First-Order Code
NEW15 is 15% off, sitewide, but only once. Category sales run much higher — 40% on gifts and sets, 30% on grooming, 25% on haircare — but only on that category. If your basket already sits inside one of those categories, the sale usually wins; if it’s a genuine mix, the sitewide code can come out ahead. Add it up before you decide.
Students Save 15%
Verify through UNiDAYS or Student Beans for 15% off. A handful of premium or newly-launched brands are usually excluded, so check the product page if a specific item doesn’t seem to qualify.
Key Workers Save With Blue Light Card
NHS staff, emergency services and other eligible key workers can verify through Blue Light Card for a discount around the same 15% mark — a good alternative if you don’t qualify for the student rate.
Join My Sephora Before You Checkout
It costs nothing and takes a minute. Joining gets you 10% off two favourite brands for life, a birthday treat, and points toward the loyalty tiers that unlock free delivery — worth doing before your first order rather than after.
Save Your First-Order Code for a Bigger Basket
Because NEW15 only works once, using it on a £15 impulse buy wastes most of its value. Build a proper basket — or wait until you’ve got a wishlist worth ordering in one go — before you spend it.
Try Before You Commit to Full Size
Look out for sample or “Try Me” options on product pages, especially for skincare and fragrance. Prestige beauty is expensive to get wrong — a few pounds on a sample beats a full-size bottle you never finish.
Work Out If Premier Delivery Is Actually Worth It
£9.95 buys 12 months of next-day delivery — but it’s also free once you reach Gold tier in My Sephora. Whether it’s worth paying for separately depends on how close you already are. Full breakdown below.
★ My Sephora Tiers vs Premier Delivery — What’s Actually Worth Paying For?
The honest maths on free loyalty perks versus a paid delivery pass
A discount code takes a slice off one order. My Sephora and Premier Delivery are a different kind of decision — free versus paid, and slow-build versus instant — so it’s worth understanding what each one actually gets you before assuming the £9.95 Premier pass is the obvious move.
How the tiers stack up
Premier Delivery, bought separately, is £9.95 for 12 months of unlimited next-day — but it comes free the moment you hit Gold. So the real question isn’t “is Premier good value,” it’s “how close am I to getting it for nothing.”
Work it out
If you’re already spending close to £200 a year at Sephora, joining My Sephora (free) gets you to Silver and removes the delivery threshold before you’ve paid a penny extra. If you’re closer to £800, Gold gets you next-day delivery free — paying £9.95 for Premier on top would be paying for something you were about to get anyway. Sephora doesn’t appear to sell next-day delivery as a one-off, standalone extra, so the fairest comparison is against what next-day typically costs elsewhere in UK retail — commonly £4–£6 per order. If Premier saves you just two of those over a year, it’s already paid for itself, even without factoring in Gold at all.
The honest caveat
None of this beats simply not needing next-day delivery at all — if you’re happy to wait 2–3 days, free standard delivery over £20 (or from day one at Silver) already covers most orders at no extra cost. Premier only earns its keep if speed genuinely matters to you and you’re not already close to Gold. Loyalty programme thresholds do get revised from time to time, so it’s worth checking your own account for where you currently stand rather than assuming the numbers above are exact.
